Democrats Destroy Democracy

In a twisted game of semantics, Democrats have destroyed the perfectly good word of “Democracy.” They are not even pretending to deceive, as they are very deliberate in their actions. Their self-righteous belief in their elite government hierarchy has led them down the path of destruction. Will it be their party’s destruction, or that of of the entire nation? One has to wait and see.
The impeachment farce that the Dems are holding is proving over and over again that they do not care about, or understand, the fabric of this nation. They have repeatedly stated that this country is a Democracy, yet even the smallest citizen can recite The Pledge of Allegiance, and explain to what they are promising their loyalty.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Nowhere is the word “democracy” mentioned in the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. Constitution. Therefore, it would stand to reason that either our Democrat government officials have either not read these founding documents, do not have the intelligence to understand them, or have no concern whatsoever in maintaining that which the Founders put in place.
Not to say that the word “democracy” is negative. On the contrary, democratic principles are valuable in giving each citizen an equal vote. This should not, however, overshadow the rule of law.
This country is a Representative Republic, as opposed to a Representative Democracy, also known as indirect democracy. Nor do we run on Mob Rule, as in a direct democracy. We elect representatives to uphold our values, not to justify their own.
In a pure democracy, the voting majority has almost limitless power over the minority. However, if anyone claims to be against democracy, then they are automatically labeled a fascist. This goes directly back to the Democrat’s agenda, and their division of this country.
But when, even on official documents, our government states that “The United States is a representative democracy,” coupled with the progressive universities that spout Leftist politics, then it seems obvious that our youth are doomed, as well as our nation.
The impeachment circus currently being held in the Nation’s Capital proves that this goes much deeper than that of the elected officials.
Many of the elected are actually attorneys, schooled by top law professors. They have even called some of these professors to testify in this caricature of government persecution.
Who are the “experts” that the Democrats are dependent on?
Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman, noted for his anti-Trump bias, made it clear that he also does not believe that we live in a Republic. He is teaching our future leaders that we live in a Democracy.
“If we cannot impeach a president who abuses his office for personal advantage, we no longer live in a democracy—we live in a monarchy, or we live under a dictatorship,” ~Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman
Additionally, Feldman was exposed by the Tennessee Star as being the author of an OpEd praising Islamic Shariah Law:
He also juxtaposed Sharia with English common law, and claimed the West “needs Shariah and Islam”.
Pamela Karlan is a law school professor at Stanford and is currently serving as chair of the board of directors for the left-leaning American Constitution Society.
She also believes that her openness of being bisexual cost her the nomination to the Supreme Court during Obama’s reign.
“It’s no secret at all that I’m counted among the LGBT crowd” and knew that it would probably prevent her from being nominated.
She is a well-known liberal and anti-Trump voice. In December 2016, Karlan and other liberal scholars signed a letter expressing alarm over President Trump’s statements and actions during the 2016 presidential campaign.
She also co-authored of the book “When Elections Go Bad: The Law of Democracy and the Presidential Election of 2000.”
The left is hyping that this woman is only focused on President Trump’s actions rather than his morals, yet, this paragon of Democracy made this statement during testimony:
“While the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron,” ~ Professor Pamela Karlan
The lefty professor, that teaches our youth, has no problem in using a young child to gain her agenda.
Again, in Democracy, the end justifies the means.
Michael Gerhardt is a law professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law, Chapel Hill. Back in July he testified about how to handle “presidential misconduct,” specifically relating to the White House defying Congressional subpoenas.
He likes to say that his principal focus has been the constitutional conflicts between presidents and Congress, therefore he is an expert. He continues to pat himself on the back here:
In an OpEd that Gerhardt authored last month, he tries to justify the legitimacy of the current hypocritical process (and of course pats himself on the back again):
I have been working on federal impeachment law for more than two decades—since I published my first book on the topic—and in that time I have been asked numerous questions about impeachment, typically about the scope of impeachable offenses.
All one needs to know to understand why the impeachment inquiry thus far has been fully legitimate—because the Constitution leaves it to the House alone to determine how to initiate and conduct an impeachment inquiry.
These are the “Experts” on which the Democrats rely. This shows definitively that the Democrats are enemies of the people, and they want to destroy the very structure of our country.
Congressman Matt Gaetz asked very clearly, “To all of the witnesses: if you have personal knowledge of a single material fact in the Schiff report, please raise your hand.” Not a single one could comply.
