Men’s Issues: Domestic Violence & False Allegations

by Shari Dovale

Domestic Violence is a serious issue. Awareness has increased for women and there are resources these women can, and should, utilize.

However, what no one seems to be talking about are the Male Victims.

Feminists would have you believe that men are the only abusers. These are misconceptions that are easily disproved.

Alex Barron, who runs the Charles Carroll Society website discusses the statistics:

Some people say if you talk about men’s issue, women will hate you.  I hope there are enough mother’s who care about their sons, and sisters that care about their brothers.

    • Approximately 50% of marriages end in a divorce.
    • Women launch 80% of all divorces.
    • Men are 8 times more likely to commit suicide after going through a divorce.
    • 40% of all spousal abuse is women attacking men, yet there is no support facilities for men at risk.

In this system why in the world would a mother encourage her son to marry a woman who has an approximately 50% chance of killing him?

While powerful Republicans and conservatives understand false allegations against Supreme Court Justices are made to achieve political purposes, these same Republicans leave poor men at the mercy of the same murderously corrupt system.

Additionally, not only are men being abused by women, but many of their partners are using the weapons given to them by society: False allegations.

A few years ago, a retiring judge tried to bring a spotlight to this dangerous precedent:

False abuse claims are the new court weapon, retiring judge says

When you have heard the evidence, you realise that this is a person who’s so determined to win that he or she will say anything. I’m satisfied that a number of people who have appeared before me have known that it is one of the ways of completely shutting husbands out of the child’s life.

It’s a horrible weapon.”

  1. My wife used to have books on the nightstand with titles kinda like “You’re wonderful and your husbands a jerk” or “When you’re in a destructive relationship because of your husband”. I thought it would be interesting to find a book about wives causing marital problems and leave it by the bed…
They’re aren’t any. Apparently, they are completed works that should be visited in museums
