Donald Trump Remains the Anti-Republican Republican

The likely backlash this November is people won't vote for Republicans because they are sickened by most of the ones we still see in the Congress.

Donald Trump Remains the Anti-Republican Republican

By Gregory Noble

Remember the surprise felt by the nation when Donald Trump first captured the Republican nomination, then astounded the world by winning (outright, without assistance from Russians; the only collusion was the assistance of Hillary Clinton in running such a poor campaign) the Presidential election in November 2016?

For everyone still searching for the reason for his victory, look no further than the US Senate and the proceedings a bunch of grumpy, old, white men who haven’t had real jobs in 20 to 60 years.

In spite of being a bit bombastic, brash, yes certainly at times crude, almost childlike in his not so innocent outbursts when he is attacked, Donald Trump was and remains the anti-Republican Republican. The majority of Republican Senators (and for good measure their Paul Ryanesque counterparts in the US House of Representatives) are demonstrating yet again today why so many conservatives voted for Trump. He stands for something, and he is unafraid to boldly fight for the things he is standing to defend.

For example, examine the Republican majority Senate Judiciary Committee. “Uh, we think we should wait to have the vote on Judge Kavanaugh because, ummm, we heard there was this woman in California who said, ME TOO. She says Judge Kavanaugh tried to molest her 36 years ago. She isn’t sure when, or where, or who was present though she is pretty certain he was in the room, somewhere. No, no, he didn’t rape her by her testimony but some other people have started calling him a rapist so we really have to be very deliberate about proceeding.

This accusation is very very serious so we are expecting Judge Kavanaugh to prove he didn’t do this. And we want to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to Ms. Blasey Ford for agreeing to testify, sorry, talk to our committee about this horrible tragedy. We were able to assure her we could meet her demand that all the Republicans on the committee would leave their testicles in the testicle lock box before the hearing; apparently she was unaware that was already a requirement for Republicans on this committee. Sort of a continuing parting gift from when Senator Feinstein was the Chairwoman.”

This is really the heart of how Trump became President. Unfortunately, the likely backlash this November is people won’t vote for Republicans because they are sickened by most of the ones we still see in the Congress. If Democrats return to majority status then the Trump progress will be severely damaged and he will get the blame. Truly, there is a danger in two months, but the blame rests squarely with spineless, testosterone free Republican Senators and Representatives who are serving to remind us why we loathe Republicans and voted for Trump.
