A Constitutionally Grounded True Conservative Candidate

I find it very interesting that this article, if you want to call it that, comes from a man who not only does not live here in District 1, but lives in Boise.

Danielle Ahrens is a stateswoman, not a politician, that has put her blood, sweat, tears, and yes, even her own money towards running for the Idaho Senate. She has fought hard to help “We the People” try to get a true conservative into this important position against the odds of ousting a long-time RINO Senator with an Idaho Freedom Foundation rating of D+.

I was at the forum where Scott Herndon stated that he believed that women who have abortions or anyone that is complicit in an abortion, such as the father paying for the abortion, or a mother driving the daughter to the clinic or the doctors should all face the death penalty. There is an article that was written on the so called forum that you can read and listen to the video at the end of the article at about 55 to 65 minutes into the video for verification of what Herndon said: Candidate’s Actions Speak Louder Than Words.

.

Mr. Martin is hiding behind his computer keyboard, twisting the facts for his own (or perhaps one of Ahrens’ opponent’s) agenda and should be concentrating on his own political district instead of north Idaho’s. His vitriol is not appreciated when he obviously doesn’t have a clue on the issues that north Idaho is dealing with.

Having been involved in local politics here in north Idaho for over 10 years, I have never seen so much mud-slinging, lies and downright nastiness from a myriad of candidates. I have received enough expensive candidate brochures to start a bon fire and I know I am not the only one sick of receiving them.

Danielle Ahrens is pro-Second Amendment, pro-life, and believes that federal lands in Idaho should be managed locally and not by the federal government. She understands the importance of school choice and believes that less regulations will help Idaho businesses. As a stateswoman, she will not be worried about the next election, but rather the next generation and will fight for our freedom and liberty without hesitation. Being constitutionally grounded she will be a true conservative who will represent the people of north Idaho whom we can be proud of. I ask you to please join me and vote for Danielle Ahrens for District 1 Senator on Tuesday, May 15th.

  1. Being pro second amendment is not defined enough by most of these candidates. You can be for the second amendment and still want to put limits on various parts of a particular handgun or rifle. Like the number of cartridges it can hold or how it looks[assault rifle] The constitution says these rights “shall not be infringed”. Doesn’t mean you can pick and choose or slice and dice. It means what it says. To me ,this says what a true conservative/constitutionalist is about. This tells me ALL I want to know about a candidate. However: they all jump on the bandwagon as pro-second amendment and then when elected vote otherwise. Pick and choose wisely or pay the price later.

    • Danielle is none of those candidates, Norman. She’s the real deal: no infringement. She has an “A” rating from the NRA, and is endorsed by the largest pro-life organization in Idaho.

  2. //I was at the forum where Scott Herndon stated that he believed that women who have abortions or anyone that is complicit in an abortion, such as the father paying for the abortion, or a mother driving the daughter to the clinic or the doctors should all face the death penalty.//

I was there at the forum too, and Donna got this wrong. All you have to do is listen to the video from the forum.

    //Danielle Ahrens is pro-Second Amendment, pro-life,//

The majority of the legislature has been pro-life since 1973. While 80,000 children have been murdered on their watch. Seems to me that pro-life is just a checkbox to pander to voters on election day.

The question is whether Danielle would keep her oath and seek to enforce Article 1 section 1 of the Idaho Constitution or whether she would bow to 7 black robed justices that say it is okay to kill children in spite of the US and Idaho constitutions.

I know Scott Herndon would stand by his oath and seek to abolish abortion.

    • He has advocated repeatedly for the death penalty for women who have abortions. Just because he won’t admit it at forums doesn’t make it untrue. If he’s willing to hide who he really is from voters, then he can’t be trusted.

      • //He has advocated repeatedly for the death penalty for women who have abortions.//

Except he hasn’t. When you say “repeatedly”, that has a meaning for which you have zero support. Just because you say something Jodi over and over again, like you try to do, does not make it true. But, what is the deal with you Jodi? Have you killed a baby, and you are feeling guilty and no that before God it is a terrible sin?

      • Honestly, what you are seeing at the forums is my dad. His answers are the answers I have heard in the house for years.

You can’t be trusted, because you repeatedly lie about him in whatever forum you choose.

        • That seems to be a typical campaign response. “You can’t be trusted”. That is strictly rhetoric. And trying to distract with the “Have you killed a baby” question smacks of desperation on your campaign’s part. This shows nothing of Christ’s forgiveness, as your dad so often preaches. Showing true colors?

          • It is just a common statistic that 1 out of 3 women have killed their child, and some of those women have the most resistance to those who would abolish abortion. So, it is not uncommon to find out someone that pushes back the most did have an abortion. Thus, the reason I asked.

Just addressing the alleged “repeatedly for the death penalty” lie. In or out of a campaign, lying is never right.

          • Another typical liberal reply: because I disagree with your vile abolition tactics, I’m therefore pro-abortion, and I “can’t be trusted.” Your dad is the one who’s hiding his extreme positions, Hannah. And you’re not helping him with these ridiculous comments. Alinsky would be proud.

  3. Herdon in many ways is just like John Brown the abolitionist. Only problem, John Brown was a communist. Do your America History lesson people. Look at the picture, look at the beard.
