Diesel Therapy for Joe Robertson
By Shari Dovale
*Updates on Joe Robertson’s multiple transfers will be made here*
9.1.16, 5pm: Joe was taken from his cell in Pahrump at 2:30am this morning. He only arrived a little over 24 hours previously. He arrived in Oklahoma City this afternoon. It has already been stated that this is a temporary spot. He has not reached his final destination.
They will not leave Joe Robertson alone long enough to get his health back!
We have told you about how the courts, under Judge Donald Molloy, ambushed Joe at his sentencing hearing. He has willing accomplices in the Prosecutor and Joe’s own Defense attorney, Michael Donahoe.
In this continuing saga, Donahoe barely made the deadline to file the notice of appeal that is required for Joe’s next battle with the ‘Just Us’ system.
Robertson’s wife, Carri, repeatedly asked Donahoe to file a notice for Joe to stay in Montana pending the appeal. Donahoe refused to do this, stating to her that he did not need Joe to be present during this process.
In other words, he did not need, or want, Joe Robertson to help in his own appeal. Joe just seems to get in the way of this Federally-paid toady.
In the meantime, Joe Robertson suffered a stroke after his first transfer, to Shelby Prison. They did not keep in in the hospital. They kept him in his cell, knowing he continued to have severe issues due to the stroke. These issues include dizziness so severe that he couldn’t walk more than about 15 feet without suffering a bout.
Additionally, Joe has not had enough medical care to even get his medications straightened out. At last check, he still does not have his proper medications. Remember, this man was already disabled when they put him in prison. He was scheduled for in-patient care at the time of his sentencing, and they did not allow him to receive this care.
Joe has also been kept separated from his service dog, Sasha.
This past Tuesday, August 30th, Joe was moved without notice from northern Montana to Pahrump, Nevada. His wife Carri was not informed of the move until another inmate called her to let her know. The prison, nor court system, took the time to make the phone call.
Joe arrived in Nevada late Tuesday night. There has been no word as to whether or not he has received his medical screening, or medications.
Only about 36 hours later, Joe has been moved again.. No one will say whether or not he has seen a doctor, which tells me that he probably has not.
I have dealt with stroke victims. There are unique situations for each one, but, I have never heard of a doctor clearing a stroke victim for airline travel, or any travel for that matter, in less than several weeks. They need medication and time to recover.
Joe has not received either. He is not being treated medically. He is being forced to travel in airplanes in which the altitude could severely affect his current medical condition. All because he dug a stock pond on his own property!
Yet, the prison system acts as if they do not care. And this is a direct result of the lack of concern by his Federally-employed attorney!
Everyone needs to educate themselves on this cruel form of punishment:
Diesel therapy is a form of punishment in which prisoners are shackled and then transported for days or weeks. It has been described as “the cruelest aspect of being a federal inmate.” ~ Wikipedia
