Securing Liberties For The Next Generation

By Aubrie Bosworth

John AdamsJohn Adams wrote to Abigail April 26, 1777 and said:

“Is it not intolerable, that the opening Spring, which I should enjoy with my Wife and Children upon my little Farm, should pass away, and laugh at me, for laboring, Day after Day, and Month after Month, in a Conclave, Where neither Taste, nor Fancy, nor Reason, nor Passion, nor Appetite can be gratified?

Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.”

If I were to ask you “Who is supposed to secure your liberties?” what would be your response?

Would it be “What do you mean? Our forefathers already did that”.

Maybe “I have to secure them.”.

Or even (God forbid) “What are liberties? What are you even talking about?”!

I, personally, have heard all three of these answers, and they are all wrong.

Now I know you’re going, “Wait, Wait! Our forefathers did secure our liberties!” You are right but only to a point. Our forefathers did not specifically secure YOUR liberties, they secured liberty for the generation after them, and that generation secured it for the one after them, and so on down the line ’till we end up with you.

And then there are those of you who are thinking, “Well the generation before me didn’t do their duty to secure my liberties so now I have to fight to secure them.” Now even though that may be the case, YOU still do not secure YOUR liberties. You secure the liberties for the generation after you…. or at least you’re suppose to.

“All in favor of losing their rights….please do nothing!”
~Cope Reynolds

You and your generation are nothing but thieves, crooks, and predators on the liberties of my generation. I am disgusted at how much of a coward you and your generation are. Oh wait am I offending you?! Good, because it’s easy for you. You get to sit around and watch your football games, giggling with your friends while you drink overpriced star-bucks coffee. You get to live out your life ignoring the duty you have. While my generation and I will have to pay, in blood, to fix what you are doing. The generation before you secured the blessing of liberty and passed them down to you, and yet, you do not do the same for us.

Oh wait, wait! You have done something right? You join all these patriot groups on Facebook, and you write all these posts about the way our country is going, and you support that one presidential candidate that’s going to fix everything! If you are a really hardcore patriot you even meet up with some of your patriot buddies and go play G.I Joe in the woods once a month, and then you go back home and write a post on Facebook about how it went.

Oh yeah, you do something.

You do barely enough for you to have a clear conscience. No matter how much you try to convince yourself that it’s enough, can you look at one of the post-millennials and honestly say to them “You are free, the liberties that were given to me are now being passed to you.”

If you die and meet your maker tomorrow can you look Him in the eye and say, “I tried everything I could to stop the future blood shed of all those kids.”

I do not believe you can.

In fact, cowardI think most of you are to cowardly to even think about what you are going to put us through, of what you already are putting us through. Stop playing army and waiting for something to happen, get out there and do something.

“Well now who are you to call us cowards?! Your generation are worthless, spoiled, punk little brats.”

Although for the most part I would agree with this I would remind you, you did not do your duty to secure our liberties to base our growth from. Because of your inaction we inherit this broken, perverted, twisted, upside down country.

Mercy Otis Warren said:

“We will stand today, or our children will fall tomorrow.”

Who am I to call you cowards?

I am one of the post-millennials you are leaving this mess to. I am one of the children you are dooming to death.

GenerationAlexander Hamilton asked:

“Is it not better, I ask, to suffer a few present inconveniences, than to put yourselves in the way of losing every thing that is precious? Your lives, your property, your religion, are all at stake.”

Alexander’s words don’t mean much to you do they? Or maybe you think you understand them? Maybe you’re sitting there going “Yep you preach it Hamilton! I feel ya brother! I have these inconveniences that you talk about! I gotta deal with the government trying to take away our rights all the time!”

As Idaho State Representative Heather Scott says:

“We get the government we allow.”

You see, the difference between patriots then and “patriots” now was that they didn’t allow the tyranny and you do, and to put the cherry on top you not only allow the tyranny, but you are willing to pass it on to the next generation.

Passing a burden as big and heavy as that to a bunch of kids, if that isn’t cowardliness then the sky isn’t blue and cows don’t go moo.

Then there are some of you who are saying “But it’s all for the children! We have gun free zones to protect the children! We give away that right and a little bit of that liberty for the children! Because we love them we do it all for the children!”

Representative Matt Shea

Washington State Representative Matt Shea says:

“Securing freedom and liberty for the next generation is one of the ultimate acts of love.”

All for the children huh?

KrisAnne HallKrisAnne Hall says:

“I do my duty to warn you. If you choose to madden on to your own destruction your consciences shall reproach you and your children’s children will curse you.
Choose you this day…as for me an my house we will serve the Lord.
The sacrifice may be great but the reward is 100 fold!”

There are a great deal of you who do stand up and you that do have my full respect, but I must ask are you doing all that you can? Are you helping and mentoring the next round of patriots? I have run into multiple patriots that are good people and have a great passion, but, when it comes to young patriots they shun them. There is more to being a patriot than just lo

ving your guns and freedom. You may have a great passion for your country, but to make a difference you must be willing to work together, to take the time to mentor the young. Because us young will one day take over the fight and we wont have you and your experienced wisdom to turn to when we don’t know the next step to make.

Assemblywoman Shelly Shelton

Nevada Assemblywoman Shelly Shelton says:

“It is time for Americans to come together.

We are all Americans whether you’re black, white, Christian, atheist, male, female, young or old it is time we come together and start working with one another.”

“Please stand with me, let’s encourage each other on to bigger and better things! Let’s face the world as a strong generation and let’s not pass this evil on to our children.”
~Elizabeth Grace Manley

Elizabeth is a young, outstanding, patriot in training. She has a beautiful heart that is full of passion and she is one of the many younger generations that has began to embrace the fight that is being handed to us. You see not all of us are sitting around and complaining, not all of us are punk little brats who are addicted to technology. There are a great deal of us who want to learn. There are many of us who are ready, who are already embracing the responsibility.

Jeneva Black says:

“As young people, we were born into a mess. Our economy is careening, our government is inverted, and what we call morality in this nation is in reality narcissistic impulse. We were born into a real wreck. However, there are two ways to look at the time we are in and the future ahead of us; as a tragic time of hardship and difficulty, or as an age ripe with opportunity to rebuild.”

It is true that the choices of the generations before us have led to the mess we are in today, but we can’t change that now. It will do no good for us to shift the blame to others whom we cannot change; the only thing we can do now is take our share of the responsibility.

We are here, and as the next generation, the day is ours! It is time for US to stand in the gap those before us left open. It is time for US to rebuild where the generations before left the walls to crumble. It is time for US to water the tree of Liberty with our own sacrifice, she has been left dry and thirsty too long!

We also should recognize and thank God for those in the former generation who ARE standing. I thank God for my wonderful Godly patriotic parents! We also have great leaders like Matt Shea, Heather Scott, Michelle Fiore, Shelly Shelton, KrisAnne Hall, Anthony Bosworth and so many others. They are the ones standing in the gap in THEIR generation.

So let’s recognize the reality of where we are and how we got here, and then move forward to do something about it!

Assemblywoman Michele FioreAs Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore says:

“The Americans are coming!”

We are ready so get on board and help point the young in the right direction. Because every young patriot you help mentor is one more to take the place on that line that one day you will leave behind.

“If we fail, we condemn them no choice but to fight.”
~Anthony Bosworth

1 Comment on Securing Liberties For The Next Generation

  1. Good Article, but it leaves a lot out.

St. George Tucker: “The Federal Government is the creature of the States. It is not a party to the Constitution, but the result of it – the creation of that agreement which was made by the States as parties. It is a mere agent, entrusted with limited powers for certain objects; which powers and objects are enumerated in the Constitution. Shall the agent be permitted to judge of the extent of his own powers, without reference to his constituent?”

The dumbing down of America started long ago when it was decided that since all Americans were armed and basically trained that they must be “re-educated” to ignore arms, to “leave things to those who serve within our governments”; to think “staying with the herd” is most important – yeah, talking cattle sheep, etc; to think that things were most important such as the clothes one wears, etc; that doing for yourself is bad, buying new is god, etc; Etc.

America has been re-educated to no longer be Americans – individuals that thought for themselves, that understood that discourse and disagreement a method for further education of themselves, etc. Education was not left to TV, public schools, smartphones, and whatever group they were hanging with…

Values were taught. Now we have people who serve as law enforcement, within our governments and they LIE as an accepted part of their office, it’s their policy to lie. Do you realize that just a bit ago Bill Clinton was going to be impeached for lying and now it is acceptable action?

    Basically to understand just how bad it is at this moment in our time – I’ll deal with one office in our government;

If we got a constitutional president, if we did not get a complete replacement of those who are to guard him would die soon – he (generic “he” meaning mankind, not male/female – and if the populace was not so dumbed down I would not have to explain that, it would have been understood). If we did not replace every single position within the general (federal) and most in the state governments, he would die. Then we would still have to keep that person alive from foreign interests in seeing the USA dead.

That is how bad it is today. Why? Because Americans are the only ones who understood individual freedom and responsibility/accountability countrywide, and that understanding was what made this nation great. That attitude is dangerous to the other nations. People began flocking here, even grabbing some of our independence for themselves. See the problem? That is why Americans had to be re-educated, to be able to destroy this nation meant destroying American values and independence – which they have done.

Thomas Paine: “THOSE who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it. The event of yesterday was one of those kind of alarms which is just sufficient to rouse us to duty, without being of consequence enough to depress our fortitude. It is not a field of a few acres of ground, but a cause, that we are defending, and whether we defeat the enemy in one battle, or by degrees, the consequences will be the same.”

Thomas Jefferson: “The most effectual means of preventing [the perversion of power into tyranny are] to illuminate, as far as practicable, the minds of the people at large, and more especially to give them knowledge of those facts which history exhibits, that possessed thereby of the experience of other ages and countries, they may be enabled to know ambition under all its shapes, and prompt to exert their natural powers to defeat its purposes.”

Thomas Jefferson:“I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves, And if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.”

George Washington: “The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the Republican model of government, are justly considered as deeply, perhaps as finally staked, on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”

James Madison, Federalist 46: “… the ultimate authority … resides in the people alone”

Thomas Jefferson: “The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself or be ruled by a small elite.”

”The United States should get rid of its militias”. Joseph Stalin, 1933

Why did he say that? Because Americans took care of themselves, were armed and mostly trained enough that if an army invaded, if the US military or law enforcement was used against us, we would stop it. Because what are the Militias? Who are they?

They (militias) are constitutionally required here in this nation. They are “We the people…” We are not just required to have weapons we are REQUIRED to train with them, to educate ourselves about the US Constitution, and our state Constitution. Why?

    Because it is us, as the regulated (trained as the congress requires of the military to be trained) who are constitutionally required to be used by both the state and federal governments for;
    — Enforcing the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
    — Enforcing and keeping the “Laws of the Union” (which are constitutional laws ONLY),
    — Protecting the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
    — “suppressing Insurrections and repelling Invasions”

US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, Clause 15. In Clause 16 are the duties assigned to those that serve within our state and federal governments have TO the Militias.

Thomas Jefferson: “When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.”

Abraham Lincoln: “We, the people, are the rightful masters of both congress and the courts – not to overthrow the constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution”

    God Bless!
