Syrian Refugees Quietly Enter Idaho

by Shari Dovale

While everyone was distracted with watching Burns, Oregon and other news, the Obama administration quietly flew about 200 refugees into Boise, Idaho. They arrived on Monday, February 1, 2016.

This information was confirmed to me by two different, and separate, sources.

Yes, despite everyone’s belief that Gov. Butch Otter has stood with the conservative citizens of Idaho and refused to allow the refugees into the state, they are here.

You can read Otter’s full letter here.

Several counties in Idaho have passed resolutions against the refugee resettlement program being pushed by the Obama administration. Beginning with Bonner County, multiple counties have publicly stated they do not want to spend their funds to support a program that is dangerous to the citizens.

FBI Director James Comey told Senate lawmakers that “gaps” remained in the U.S.’s ability to screen the refugees, because of a lack of intelligence on the ground in Syria.

In November, Paris was hit with a series of coordinated attacks by refugees on the people in France. There were 130 people killed in those attacks.

On December 2, 2015, gunmen opened fire at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California. Police said there at least 14 people killed and 17 people wounded.

Rep. Pete King (R-NY), a member of the Homeland Security Committee and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, said unequivocally that we cannot adequately vet the “refugees” from Syria—a perspective shared by top-level members of the intelligence community.

Currently, over half of governors have pushed back against President Obama’s announcement that he was moving forward with his goal of importing at least 10,000 Syrian “refugees” despite the devastating terror attacks in Paris, which involved at least one terrorist who posed as a Syrian refugee to enter Europe.

The Citizens of Idaho need to ask Butch Otter why he has allowed these refugees to enter the Gem State.

  1. just saying no way could 200 refugees get off a plane in boise and not be noticed, unless they used a military base.I plan to follow this.SO was it done at a military base?

  2. I am the author of this article. To the best of my knowledge, the people that gave me this information have never met each other.

I have received multiple requests to reveal the sources for this article. I will not do that. If I were to violate the trust of the people that verified this information, then my credibility would be in question.

I do not know where the refugees went after arriving, and I do not know their final destination. All I know is that they arrived in Boise. That is what I reported.

    • I liked the article – except for the subject. I can’t believe the people of Idaho would allow the refugees to come to their state. These people won’t assimilate. The government pays #257,000 per refugee per year to settle them here. That means your taxes will pay for it too. I told the new mayor of Sandpoint that I had changed my mind about moving to Sandpoint, because of his open door policy. Is there no way to stop this insanity? Your women and children are no longer safe.

  3. When a friend told me of 200 refugees coming to Boise in the dead of night, I was furious and ready to contact the Gov.’s office, some legislative friends, and post on Conservative Blogs. So I contacted a friend associated with the effort to stop refugees coming to Idaho and was given this site.

However, after reading this, you provide no credible sources to verify this occurred. Therefore, it simply becomes an unsubstantiated accusation which can do more harm than good to your efforts. It allows the Refugee supporters the opportunity to claim, “Here’s another baseless claim put forth by right-wing fanatics.”

I understand your desire to protect the identity of your sources, but with out any credible evidence, then all you have is a “He said, She said” situation. Clarice is right, it then falls directly onto your level of credibility.

I’m not willing to contact high level officials on this, because now my credibility comes into question. Ya need to throw us some sort of a bone!

  4. “Regarding the article: “SYRIAN REFUGEES QUIETLY ENTER IDAHO” – I SPOKE YESTERDAY TO SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE GOVERNOR, BENN BROCKSOME ABOUT THIS. HE ASSURED ME THAT NO SYRIAN REFUGEES HAVE ENTERED IDAHO SINCE GOVERNOR BUTCH OTTER’S STAND WITH OTHER GOVERNORS, TO BLOCK OBAMA’S PLAN TO SETTLE SYRIAN REFUGEES IN OUR STATE. ReDoubt News please explain and name your sources. YOUR CREDIBILITY IS ON THE LINE!
