BREAKING: Idaho Legislators Travel To Burns Oregon
Idaho State Representatives Judy Boyle, Heather Scott, and Sage Dixon were among a group of western state legislators who traveled to Burns, Oregon last Saturday (January 8, 2016) on a fact finding mission.
Here is their Press Release:
We were among a selected group of state legislators invited by an Oregon legislator because of our commitment to liberty, freedom and efforts to curb federal government overreach. Numerous constituents in each of our Districts have expressed concerns about the situation unfolding in Burns, and similar frustrations in dealing with federal agencies. We would like to avoid any type of similar situations in our own districts; therefore we went to assess this situation for ourselves and our constituents.
We first met in Burns with local county officials, law enforcement officers, and the FBI to receive a briefing and make them fully aware of our intentions. We were cautioned about proceeding out to the Refuge for various reasons but were not prohibited from going. One county official was visibly hostile towards our presence and used very inflammatory language about our participation, and the citizens at the refuge.
Based on information we heard during this meeting, coupled with other discussions with local residents, we determined the need to corroborate this information with that offered by the group at the Refuge to completely understand the situation. We made the decision as a group to hear both sides of the story which required hearing directly from Ammond Bundy and his group. Clearly, based on our brief visit to Burns, a further investigation is warranted to find a satisfactory solution not only to the standoff but to the alleged unwarranted actions of the federal agencies.
At the Refuge, we received a petition of grievances from the group, which is a right guaranteed to citizens under the First Amendment. They believed their grievances have been and still are being ignored.
It is part of our job as legislators to continually understand citizen grievances, find solutions based on facts and attempt to de-escalate volatile situations whenever possible. We believe it is very important to try to preempt any similar situation that may occur in our state.
We expect to stay abreast of the situation and will provide any further information we discover.
The Bundys, Hammonds, and other brave men at the refuge need to understand the following vital information, especially if they place any credence at all in Scripture. Please take a listen and hear it out. It could make all the difference in the world. God bless!

His name is Steve Grasty http://www.dpo.org/people/steve-grasty A so-called ‘judge’ who screamed at the top of this lungs, snot and spit flying, telling the legislators they need to leave and to not dare go out and visit the Refuge to get both sides of the story. He told the ‘outsiders’ they needed to leave the community. I can’t help but wonder what he doesn’t want them to discover about the community he seems to have under his thumb (and acts like he owns). There’s more to the story, but there you go.
John you nailed that on the head, Mr. Steve Grasty is on the take, I 100% guarantee he is.. The Sheriff is too, well I can’t say for sure, but I’d be willing to put my money he is.. Being appointed, as apposed to being elected by the people, seems a little fishy to me.. Same holds true with the prosecutor receiving her BIG promotion to the top dog.. The whole damned thing stinks to high heaven.. Ya know my biggest concern is the Hammond’s, there’s a reason they put em back in prison, I think that reason is an early release in body bags.. Think about it, the Hammond’s went too prison, followed through on the fines/restitution, did their parole obligations, all the hell they put em through, and the Hammond’s still wouldn’t sell out.. What other card does the BLM have to play ?? BLM gets first chance at the property if becomes available, with the men dead the ladies would most likely sell, they would be helluva lot easier to persuade than the men would.. That’s my take on it, I really do think a team needs to be assembled to get them released from prison, if nothing else get them transferred to one of those country club jails.. They didn’t deserve any of this, I can only imagine how angry and hurt the Hammond’s must feel.. Mr. Schmidt please help the Hammond’s and the Bundy’s, I’ve known the Bundy’s since I was a kid, they’re good people.. I would be there with them if not for my wife convincing me that it was idea.. Not only is the Sheriff appointed, he was appointed by said ‘Judge Grasty’, linked above.
We’re doing all we can behind the scenes, and there truly is a lot going on. The case is being built up against the BLM, and I believe the corruption from the powers-that-be in that community will also come to light in the process. I want to see them all go down as do many others.
John, we need to find out if Sheriff David Ward is the same BLM Agent David Ward that testified against the Hammond’s. To date, I have not been able to find any pictures of juror #11 David Ward BLM Agent.

He told the ‘outsiders’ they needed to leave the community.” what he isnt saying is that both he and the states attorner sent there do do this last evil to the hammonds to steal the land are both being investigated and all but arrested for there crimes that is why they are so bent on stopping ppl from finding out whats going on including its bet the sherry iff

You are correct, Oath Keepers are NOT involved in the Burns, OR situation.
